Following a break-in at Melton Country Park Cafe, Kettell Windows has offered to donate brand new windows and doors, to help get the cafe back up and running.
Kettell Windows, who are teaming up with double glazing fabricator TruFrame, are offering their services free of charge.
Lisa Kettell, sales and marketing director at Kettell Windows says;
“Ourselves along with TruFrame are offering to donate all new windows and doors to the cafe and fit them to make it secure and safer.
Both of our businesses are local and we are passionate about supporting services accessible to the community.”
Melton Country Park has received an overwhelming response after the cafe was broken into earlier this month.
Members of the local community have come to their aid after event organisers set up a crowdfunding page to help get the cafe back up and running.
People have pledged from £5 to £100 and Jeanette Hodgkinson has certainly felt the impact of the community;
“The response has been amazing.
It’s heart-warming that so many people in the community care so much about the cafe.
Everyone loves the country park and it’s clear they love the cafe too.”
Kettell, TruFrame and Melton Country Park will meet to discuss the requirements needed to help add extra security to the cafe whilst maintaining a modern and welcoming look to the cafe.
Following the success of the crowdfunding, Jeanette Hodgkinson, of Melton Country Park Cafe, released an update on the benefits the donations will have, as well as the involvement of ourselves, along with our supply partner, TruFrame:
“Hi Everyone Thank you so so much for your support and donations. We are so happy to report that windows are being fitted FOC by two local companies TruFrame and Kettell Windows! How amazing is this? We would like to use the funds donated by you good people for a new CCTV system”
If you wish to donate further, the volunteers have their sights set on a new kitchen and tools for a tool library. So be sure to go to the donation page to help them achieve their goals.
Kettell Windows will be sharing updates and information on the installation which will be carried out in March, so keep an eye on our blog for updates.
